The Rock Is God, And I Need Mula

Alrighty then... I don't know why DreamHost cut off my account a year early, but they apparently have forgotten that I paid last year for 2 Years (from what I remember), not 1. Yet, they've closed the account linked above temporarily until I pay them $119.40 for another year.

Yes, I've considered moving. No. I don't know where I'd go to get what I've gotten from them in the past. Ok, so their customer support is kinda shoddy - but everything else they have to offer is what I need.

I have a few options:

1) Discontinue the web site I spent years building, as well as the blog I've attached onto it, that you all have been enjoying.
2) Cut my losses and pay for everything out of pocket, borrow money where I have to, etc.
3) Charge all you lovely readers for the priviledge of reading my ramblings, and then use the money you send me to reemburse myself for doing #2.
4) Do #2 & #3, and then ask you all for more money so I can buy my own server (I'm pipe-dreaming now), pay for a stable ISP, IP & DSL or WiFi... *Bubble bursts*

Obviously, none of these are appealing. I'm opting for #2 for now, and will simply leave it up to you all to decide if you want to send any money simply because you like my blog.

Soo, if you want to send some dough (good checks in USD only please), here are two addresses:

If you want me to know you sent money, or don't know my full name:

PO Box 2376
Walla Walla, WA 99362

If you want to donate anonymousely and you know my full name:

c/o Blue Mountain Federal Credit Union
520 S. College Ave
College Place, WA 99324

Basically, I figure this covers everyone. Either you know me personally and probably don't want "special treatment" or you don't know me personally and so it's not as big of a deal if I find out who you are. Either way, I just simply don't include both my name and any address on a public blog like this. So please don't ask why -- I just don't.

If you do send anything, I really do thank you upfront. I appreciate it. And either way, I apologise for any inconvenience you may have had just in getting to this page. My server's service getting cut off like that, though it turns out they did send me warning emails, was still a surprise (my bad for forgetting to check a different email addy than my normal one -- I wasn't expecting to have to do that until, oh, I dunno... NEXT YEAR!!!) Anyway, I'm sorry you were dissapointed (as was I) to find that my regular blog on my rented cyber-space server isn't functioning right now.

Thank you for stopping by. I don't know when this issue will be resolved, but I'm hoping it will be today or tomorrow. In the mean-time, I'll probably put a few posts here on the main page of this blog, just to keep you going :)
